About the Journal

Bridging Communities Journal is an open access journal dedicated to publishing innovative research and ideas that bridge the gap between theory and practice in community development. The journal is published regularly three times a year, in April, August, and December.

We welcome contributions from various disciplines that focus on Community Empowerment, Sustainable Social Development, Applied Social Work, and Public Service Policy

Bridging Community Journal aims to be a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and policy makers to share findings, methodologies, and reflections that can make a real contribution to the advancement of communities around the world. Through this publication, we hope to encourage constructive dialog and facilitate evidence-based solutions to the complex challenges facing communities today.
